Set up an Android KitKat VM on VMWare Workstation for testing Lync
Why you want to do this I'm not really sure but it's probably because it can be done.
Perhaps if you want to test Lync functionality on an Android platform.
First follow this excellent guide here: http://www.vladan.fr/how-to-install-android-kitkat-in-vmware-workstation/
Then just run the setup wizard on android and launch google play and sign in.
Download the Lync Client and you are all set.
I've so far only tested IM and it works.
