Issue with Lync 2013 September updates
I recently updated a couple of customers with the Lync 2013 September updates.
This was not as "next next" as it usually is.
On several servers the windows fabric update failed.
The only quick fix for this was to reboot the server after the first updates finished.
Then run the update again and windows fabric will install successfully.
Just plan for some downtime of your servers before applying this update.
The fabric update was actually in the August update (KB2967486), so I wonder if this problem only happens to customers who skipped that update and are applying the September update to a non-current version.
